High school teachers’ self-efficacy beliefs: A mixed method research

چکیده

The aim of this study is to reveal high school teachers’ self-efficacy beliefs with an explanatory sequential design, which one the mixed method research designs. Quantitative data were analysed by package program, and qualitative content analysis method. Three hundred twenty-nine teachers participated in quantitative part 15 study. In section study, “Teacher Self-Efficacy Belief Scale” was used dimension interview form consisting four questions asked. As a result research, it revealed that factors affecting academic participants scientific postgraduate education, in-service training, following up-to-date resources, individual development communication; professional use different teaching principles methods, personal development, graduate communication, sharing experience; social activities, harmony sharing; intellectual periodicals, agenda, scientific-philosophical reading, activities organisations, travel.
